However, as I started to read about the marketing manager job description, it makes sense to me that a lot of companies might not be aware of the true meaning of this critical professional position.

There’s a good chance that your small business has a marketing manager or someone responsible for marketing at least, and you may be wondering how someone can take on such a role.
To make things easier for you and your business, I’ve listed below the core duties of a Marketing Manager
It is important to understand that the role of the Marketing Manager is very broad in nature and the title doesn’t necessarily equate to what it actually entails.

I was asked to outline a list of a core set of duties for a Marketing Manager that I felt were interesting enough to share with you today.

#1 Marketing plan creation
How do you plan the business you’re in?
Most businesses have a marketing plan that determines where their budget is going, what they’re going to achieve, and what their next step is.
A good marketing plan includes specific marketing objectives and initiatives. Here is how a marketing plan is typically organized:
- Product Market Fit – Understanding the products that the market needs and how the product fits into the market.
- Attract Customers and/or Market Users – This includes knowing who is the “right customer” and what the consumer requirements are.
