Best Ways To Invest Extra Money

I personally love to earn extra money in my spare time. I invest what I make each year. I prefer buying small, safe blue-chip stocks.

I read through some articles online about earning extra money and investing extra money. And, then I read up on the stocks that I want to buy.

My wife knows about my investing and I believe she shares my love for investing. I always tell her, “Be my partner.”

Basically, I would like to introduce you to a few ways to earn extra money.

Check out these steps to earning extra money.

Sell items that you own

SALE – fashion victim consumer shopping

Since I am a carpenter by trade, I had an idea. I was a little frustrated with the prices that I was paid for my work.

So, I thought that I should just sell stuff I have to buy materials for the house. So, I created a Facebook group called “Traded Words.”

This group is comprised of carpenters. I had approximately 1,400 members of the group.

I would post pictures and stories of the items that I am selling. If someone liked it, I would make a sale.

I sold furniture, furniture cabinets, and old cabinets. I sold items that I didn’t need anymore.

I sold stuff that I was tired of lugging around. I sold stuff that I just didn’t like anymore.

Somehow, I made $3,500 in just a few months.

As a carpenter, I worked as a general contractor in my spare time. So, I created a Facebook group called “Carpenters’ Garage Sale” to sell my business supplies and tools.

The name of the group is “Carpenters’ Garage Sale.” And, I had about 600 members in the group. I would post pictures of the items that I was selling.

If someone liked it, I would make a sale.

Offer health insurance

I am a new dad to twins. So, my wife and I are very busy with our kids. I remember that my wife and I were stressed because we were struggling to pay for our health insurance.

We needed $300 more to pay for our health insurance for the next month. And, I wanted to do something about it.

So, I decided to offer health insurance. I made a group called “Health Insurance: Extra Money For Choices.”

At first, I was offering health insurance for the premium price. I found that offering health insurance for a price that was not too high, but still offer a great deal of value was a good deal.

The response from the group was very good. At one point, I had $2,000 on the table. After negotiating prices, I offered the health insurance for only $950. That was a great deal.

I ended up raising the price to $1,250. I collected the money that I needed to pay for our health insurance. I made $1,050 in two days.

The group has doubled in size. The size of the group has increased to 2,500 members.

This is what I told them in the description of the group: “You should have the right to health care insurance. I believe that we should all have access to affordable health insurance for as little as possible. You deserve it. Let’s work together to make sure that we can make that happen.”

Offer local delivery services

Fast Food

I know that some of you are saying, “Cameron, why don’t you offer delivery services? Wouldn’t that be great?” I thought about it for a couple of minutes. I didn’t want to lose my business.

So, I decided to offer delivery services. I made a group called “Delivery Services: Home Delivery, Electric Gas, Electric Generator, Electric Heating, Electric Propane, Pool Cleaning, Power Backup, Site Selection, Local Delivery” so that I could collect all of my delivery requests.

Before the delivery services, I was getting $100 to $300 in cash orders per week. I had a goal that I wanted to raise, and I was planning to hire five to ten delivery people to fulfill these orders.

I ended up raising my goal to $600 to $1,000 per week. And, I reached it.

This is what I told them in the description of the group: “I want to make it easier for you to get the things you need. I want to do it at a very affordable rate. It’s cheaper for you to get it here than to go get it at a store. I want to get rid of the delivery fees that you have to pay for delivery services. You can use this group to tell me what it is that you need.”

I raised the price of the group to $1,000 to $1,100 per week, and I collected almost $1,500 in two days. I made more money in two days than I did the whole month last year.

Take “paid off” items

Many people end up with unwanted things like furniture, toys, or electronics. These are the things that everyone has. And, I know that my neighbors have these things.

It’s actually quite normal for people to have unwanted things, and you can get them for a very inexpensive price.

I decided to offer “paid off” items. I made a group called “Take Off the Books, Take Off the Shelves, Pay Off Your Appliances, Pay Off Your Floors, Pay Off Your Car.”

I asked people to tell me what appliances, furniture, or anything else they wanted to get rid of. I would charge a fair price for the item, and then I would give it to my neighbors at a fair price. I also included things like service contracts, warranties, and so on.

I collected $1,600 in two days. I spent less than $100, and I got rid of furniture, appliances, and electronics that had been sitting in the garage for years.

Sell unwanted products

Get selling

I took all of the broken office products that I had on my shelves and took them to a recycling company. I paid $30 for the recycling fee, and then I split the proceeds with the recycling company.

I took home $250. This gave me the incentive to do more stuff.
