ImageNet Challenge

Bengio later left academia to work full-time on AI research but he kept teaching his disciples how to implement these concepts. Since then many people have made their own variations on this idea including some significant contributions from themselves.

Since 2010, every year we see deeper and wider nets being trained using ever larger datasets. This explosion happened after two key events: firstly, Nvidia released an extremely efficient GPU architecture called Geforce Titan which allowed much faster training times; secondly, Google launched its famous Cloud TPU service where you can train your net free of cost!

Overall, what makes NNs different to older machine learning algorithms like logistic regression is that they learn complex nonlinear patterns across multiple levels.

Andrew Ng

In 2012, Professor Andrew Ng launched his AI platform Ml-Engine with over 1 million dollars in seed funding. Since then he has built it into one of the most well-known deep learning platforms available. Teams of software engineers were tasked with creating programs that could play Super Smash Bros., a fighting game where you use your dexterity to hit opponents with moves like bowling balls or missiles.
