Intuition is the voice in your head or gut telling you things that you do not consciously know about yourself.

For example, you might think that you would not want to be with someone who has tattoos on their body, but your gut or intuition tells you that it would be totally fine with you.

It is a very strong voice, that tends to be contradictory to the voice in your head that tells you that you will never find a partner.

Here are the steps to take if you want to have good intuition and tune in to it.

Trust it

Whenever you get an intuition that feels right, trust it.

If you want to create a good life for yourself and others, try to avoid trying to force your intuition.

Try to take a step back and ask yourself if you are trying to change or repress your intuition.

If so, stop and listen to it.

Try to create a life for yourself that is not constrained by what other people think.

It is very common that people pay attention to their head or gut reactions more than their intuition.

Try to pay more attention to your gut reactions, and they should usually make sense to you.

If you are listening to your intuition, and the voice in your head is telling you something that does not seem right, do not ignore it.

Just pause and listen to it. You might just need a bit of quiet time to process what it is telling you.

The problem is that when we are talking to our friends, we do not usually pause, and listen to what they say.

But we do pause to listen to what our intuition is telling us.

This is the way our brain works: we ignore some of our senses and just pay attention to the rest of them.

Perceive what is right for you

When you recognize that your intuition is telling you to pursue something that you feel is right for you, then it is time to take action.

When the voice in your head is telling you something that you think is a good idea, and your gut reaction is something that feels good to you, you should listen to it and do it.

You do not want to ignore what you feel is right for you.

To make sure that your intuition is on point, do some tests that will help you get a feel for what it is telling you.

If you are listening to your gut reaction, and your intuition tells you something different than what your gut reaction is telling you, then you should listen to your intuition.

Do you need to step out of your comfort zone, and do something uncomfortable for yourself?

You should know that your intuition will never lead you astray.

Here are some other things to know about listening to your intuition:

1. To listen to your intuition, you need to be interested in learning about yourself and your feelings and have a clear understanding of your values and preferences

Heller explains that if you don’t understand or value yourself, it’s hard to understand what you want.

And, most importantly, you need to know what you’re feeling since intuition is not always possible to access.

And when your intuition is wrong, or at least not really “on,” then it’s much harder to address the problem.

“This can create stress, and over time, a lower likelihood that your intuition will help you make good choices,” she says.

“It takes work and introspection to understand and begin to trust your gut, especially when you don’t have as much experience doing so.

The reward for this work is a greater capacity to make wise decisions about the people and things in your life.”

2. Intuition is built on general knowledge, but not always deep

“When you go beyond what your gut is telling you, you are risking letting fear guide you and other emotions cloud your judgment, which can take you off the path,” she says.

You’ll be able to listen to your intuition if you build a broad, general knowledge base to fall back on for certain situations.

For example, if you know that you’re not a risk-taker, you won’t be afraid to listen to your intuition if the situation is outside your comfort zone.

“We also need to know when intuition is missing,” says Heller. “That means we know when to tune in and look for answers outside our own thoughts.”

3. To be able to tune in, you need a clear understanding of your values and preferences, and the time to reflect.

“It can take weeks to a month, or longer to get clear on this,” she says.

“In the beginning, your intuition will be closer to the surface and more accessible, but don’t over-rely on it.

We must know how to listen to it when our needs are not being met, when we’re craving attention, when we’re receiving a blow to our self-esteem, or when we’ve been rejected.”

4. So many people tend to underestimate their intuition.

They fear it because they don’t understand it or don’t know what to do with it.

This, however, is not true.

5. Your intuition is also about your self-control and what’s best for you.

“It’s also about showing yourself the right path, avoiding the wrong road, and knowing when to put yourself first,” she says.

“You can develop trust in your intuition if you know and understand the meaning behind what it’s saying, and how it’s saying it.”

The best way to do that is to know that you are in control and not controlled by others.

“Your intuition is constantly talking to you,” she says.

“It may be talking about a friend who’s driving you crazy, or it may be asking you to do something that may be right in front of you but seems more frightening.

Pay attention, and listen!”
