As a parent, it is your job to guide your child and help him or her find their confidence.
By the time they are in 6th or 7th grade they are going to start to question themselves and their talents or what they are capable of doing.
I really want you to stop and think about this question because it is a really important one.
Why do we as parents want our children to feel confident?
We want them to develop a lot of confidence in themselves.
I feel that the best way to start this is to show your child confidence in you.
Before you get out of bed in the morning your child should see you taking pride in what you do.
We need to show our children that everything is possible
For example, before bed, I get out of the shower and get ready for bed.
I notice it in my daughter’s eyes that she wants to know why I am in my PJs, why I am still in my makeup, why I put on socks when I just got out of the shower.
Because you see I don’t want her to lose sight of her dreams.
I want her to have everything she can dream of in life and I want her to do it her way!
I want her to dream big and know she can do anything.
This is something that every parent should be doing and if your child sees you doing this they will follow suit and become confident in their own little ways.
The next step I want you to do is stop trying to figure out what your child is doing wrong and begin telling them what you love about them.
You don’t have to tell them every single thing, but you should do at least the little things that make your child unique.
They love to hear that you are proud of them and tell them how proud you are of them.
You should also encourage them when they feel that they need a little more confidence.
If they ask for your help I would rather them ask than make them feel they have to ask.
My daughter is very shy, so I never ask her to do things for herself.
I always ask her if she is ready to try something and then I’ll help her the best I can.
I wouldn’t want her to struggle with this because as long as she tries to do something on her own she will learn.
It will build her confidence and love for herself.
And finally, make sure to have fun with your children
In our household, we are learning together and having fun together.
I can see in my daughter’s eyes that she is getting to be just as excited as I am.
Her eyes light up when she gets to jump on her trampoline or learn how to ride a bike.
The point is to take things slow and try to help them grow on their own.
Don’t take your eyes off of them all of the time, because it won’t work.
This is a tool I use to help me because my daughter is very shy.
I take her to parks that she has never been to or to places where she has never been before.
I try to take her somewhere she can be loud and be with people.
She always has a smile on her face.
I love when we are all together and we are all having fun.
There is no better feeling than to have my girls being silly and loving life!
This weekend was the Colorado State Golf Tournament at Eagle Crest Golf Course in Highlands Ranch, CO.
You have probably heard of it.
The triple crown of golf
It is the oldest and most prestigious event in the nation.
Some amazing golfers from around the world play for this trophy.
My husband grew up in Highlands Ranch and he has been involved in this tournament since he was in high school.
This tournament was so special for us because it is a family tradition.
Every year we go to this tournament and we have so much fun.
I don’t think any of us have ever been there without having fun and getting to know some of the great people that come from all over the world.
This year I have been so busy with my classes and I was worried I wouldn’t have the time to go.
On Thursday I received a call from my husband that said “Hey Jessica, I’m ready to go shopping, are you going to be ready too?”
I was so surprised.
I had no plans for that day and thought we were going to watch a little golf.
My husband didn’t want to leave me alone.
It is something very special for me to have my husband be so involved with something he knows I love.
He cares for my happiness and I know he wants to take me places I am going to enjoy.
I am so lucky that my husband is a great dad and he likes to take the girls out and spend time with them.
I have very different interests than my husband, but we can always make it work and enjoy each other.
When we go to this tournament we have a great time.
The girls love looking around at all the people.
The people they see in this tournament are some of the people that they will meet in their life.
My oldest daughter is just 5, and she has been around the world.
So she has met so many people.
They really like to see the people with costumes on that dress-up.
There are always some really great people at this tournament, that is dressed up in really funny and creative ways.
My oldest daughter has become friends with some of them.
One family is dressed up as “the main man”
He is from Green Bay and they play the Packers on Sundays.
The girls love their friend and they love having fun with him.
Another family always dresses up as the 13th hole and they wear those golf outfits.
My girls love dressing up in their outfits and then they stand right in front of the hole.
We have them stand in front of the hole and they feel like a celebrity.
My little one is very shy, but she loves watching all of the people.
She is always hiding her face because she doesn’t like it when she gets in people’s faces.
So when she is having fun she is in the corner with her head down.
When it is time to go she is so sad.
The tournament is really special to our family.
We always have a great time and I am so glad my husband is a part of it.
