To understand their needs better, I conducted exhaustive pre-research to familiarize myself with prevalent long-acting injectables, typical users, and administration methods. Following this, I carried out comprehensive research by interviewing and surveying healthcare centers, allowing me to unearth the needs and challenges of the target user group. These interviews granted me a deeper understanding of the users, helping me empathize with their experiences and identify common challenges and needs. I supplemented this research with insights from experts familiar with this user group.
In creating the design, I aimed to devise a future-proof solution, considering the long-term vision and advancements in technology and healthcare.
